Tourism and Attractions

The Crocodile and Nature Park showcases the country's conservation projects among them the Philippine Crocodile, in its various stage of development. Palawan waters are among the best in the world for diving and fishing. It is said that the entire island has been declared a nature sanctuary of the world. Palawan hosts two UNESCO's World Heritage Sites: the Mount St. paul Underground River, said to be the longest in the world, and the Tubbataha Reefs National Marine Park, the Philippines' largest marine habitat. In addition to these wonders of nature are the Honda Bay Islands, popular for snorkeling, diving and other water sports, and the Tabon Caves, site of the oldest habitation in Southeast Asia.

Transportation

The fastest way to reach Puerto Princesa is by air. Flying time from Manila is approximately one hour. The Puerto Princesa Airport is only one and half kilometers from the city proper and is accessible by jeepney, bus and tricycle.
